A little context
“Much of what I make begins where technology and the human condition meet.”
I’m Meamya Christie, a Gen X writer, builder, and founder based in Dallas. I create practical and reflective work about how we live, work, recover, and care for one another.
My background includes more than eight years in product leadership and product marketing, alongside earlier work in healthcare settings. Those experiences shaped my interest in how technology, organizations, and everyday systems affect people’s lives.
Here, I share writing, guides, and tools drawn from professional practice and lived experience. I’m interested in making useful knowledge more accessible, examining what we take for granted, and creating room for people’s actual circumstances.
I also founded Motif Metrics, a research and platform design studio exploring care, wellbeing, technology, and everyday life.
For publishing inquiries, interviews, collaborations, and questions about my writing, guides, and tools.
